Charcoal Barbecue Grill

There's nothing quite like a Charcoal Barbecue Grill. Last weekend we had a fantastic garden barbecue with the family. Set up a large gazebo, added some balloons and decorations for the kids, arranged  some games, drank some good wine and beer, how much better does  it get?

On the menu was chicken, burgers, sausages. Side dishes and picks with barbecue and spicy sauces, and strawberries and cream to finish. My that was good!

There is so much you can do with even the most simple of barbecues. I't's nice if you can afford the top end BBQ, but you can get excellent results with cheaper ones as well.

Vary the bbq recipes just be aware that if you're inviting guests that there are no vegetarians, or if there are then add a few veggie burgers and sausages to the menu.

I actually meant to take some photos but got so carried away with the day  I forget completely, Ah well next time.....

Here is a great video if you fancy Rib Eye Steak American Style

Charcoal Barbecue Grill

Charcoal Barbecue : Garden Barbecue

What is a backyard without a garden barbecue?  While many people opt for the more expensive bbq gas grillers, many homeowners opt for the traditional charcoal bbq grill for their weekend garden barbecues.

There are three top of the line products to consider.

The gas griller is a very convenient unit but what’s the point of grilling outside if you are going to use gas? You might as well fire up your Maytag indoor oven. The results will be pretty much the same. In order to get the well loved char-grilled taste that we all know, then you have to use a charcoal bbq grill.

The Weber Company is well known for making outstanding garden barbecues. This is why the Weber One-Touch Silver comes on the top of my list of personal favourites. Actually, this is the charcoal bbq grill that I use every weekend at my own home. I’ll tell you why.

The Weber charcoal bbq grill is built to stand the test of time. I’m not always very nice to my outdoor barbecue equipment. Just ask my lawnmower. This outdoor grill is
designed to take punishment and it is designed to be user-friendly, too. Even though it’s simple to use, I really don’t like to share this charcoal bbq grill with
other cooks.

The optional rotisserie kit is a must for the serious charcoal king. Make sure that you add this to your shopping list because you can make some amazing meals with this rotisserie and it won’t take much effort. When it comes to the charcoal bbq grill, the Weber stands out among the rest.

The Weber is great for me but I know that some people might opt for something different. I also had my eye on a larger charcoal bbq grill, too. The Big Green Egg is great for the name alone. But you really might like this machine because it has a rare design that allows you to cook without requiring a lot of attention. The Big Green Egg is ideal for those who like to use smokers.

My third pick is the Char-Griller Outlaw. I like the name of this charcoal bbq grill as much as the Big Green Egg but I really like the cooking space. If you host a lot of big grilling events, then this is the charcoal bbq grill for you. The Outlaw is also a great choice for the frugal bunch, too.

It doesn’t matter which unit you choose as long as you pick a charcoal bbq grill for your next garden barbecue. Gas just won’t cut it.

Garden Barbecue: A Favourite Pastime

Having a garden barbecue is a favourite pastime and recreational activity in which every member of the family can participate, and although a barbecue can be held at any time of the year it is during the summer months that it really comes into it's own.

A variety of barbecues ensure that for small or large groups of people there is one that will match your circumstances. Portable barbecues too have their place, being smaller and compact they have become more prominent with campers, caravanner's and holidaymakers alike.

The great thing about having a garden barbecue is that you don't need an excuse to have one, and in these times of economic turbulence you can save money as well by eating at home. You can have just as much leisurely entertainment having a patio barbecue with some really great food, and forgo the expense of taking the family to the restaurant, providing that is you shop wisely.

There are huge variety of barbecue recipes so you never have to get bored. There are literally thousands of different recipes that you can find. A quick search on the Internet will provideyou with plenty of alternatives.

Barbecues do not have to be expensive either. You can of course pay several hundred pounds for a top of the range barbecue with all the bells and whistles, but generally the charcoal kettle type barbecue is sufficient for most people. Making you own barbecue out of a few bricks is also an alternative as is a used barbecue which you may pick up from your local newspaper or at one of the many on-line stores.
