Barbecue Rubs: Barbecue Spice Rub
A barbecue rub is a mixture of finely ground dry seasonings used to rub flavours into meat, these can be put straight onto the meat or mixed into a paste with some oil. This
is one of my favourite Barbecue Spice Rubs, particularly good for chicken.
- 2 teaspoons of Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Dried Chilla Flakes
- 2 teaspoons of caster sugar
- 2 teaspoons of soft brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons finely ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
Just mix all the ingredients together for a fine barbecue spice rub
